Not physically pushed, rather motivated by a guy who’s experienced adversity, learnt some of life’s lessons and who is now left with an unwavering sense of gratitude for the life he lives.
You should meet Paddy, have a conversation with the guy and we promise you’ll leave with a smile. Sometimes because he’s a bit of a goofball (as his picture would suggest) but for the most part because he’s just a real glass half full kinda guy.
He’s been with us since the beginning, is an awesome PT and commands a killer spin class. Don’t stop reading! Spin is good for you and nothing to be scared of. It’s a great way to add a bit of hard cardio to your week without having to think too much. Gear ranges are outlined at the beginning of each track as is the RPM you’re supposed to be working towards. And I’m speaking from experience here, as someone who has tried her hand at quite a few spin classes over the years – these are the very, very best.
If COVID has given us any silver linings it has meant that we now have 30-minute classes so it’s much easier for you to give it a go. Work your way up to the longer classes.
And then it’s up to you to book in (or clip in if you’ve got yourself a set of fancy spin shoes), pedal and listen. Because the music is always amazing. But the words from the front of the room are powerful and they will leave you feeling inspired.
