Meet Zelle. Kirrawee Founding Member, Soccer Gun, All-Round Legend

When Zelle first walked into Tribe Kirrawee, she wasn’t sure she belonged.

“I honestly thought it’d be full of fit, young, beautiful people… and I wouldn’t fit in.”

She couldn’t have been more wrong (except for the beautiful part – that’s true 😉).

Zelle’s always been sporty – back in the day she played rep soccer at State level. But a serious spinal injury at 17 put her out of action and straight into surgery. Still, she fought her way back to the field (as you do).

Since then, she’s tried other gyms. But they kept leaving her broken. Literally.

“No one cared about form. I kept getting injured.”

Then she found Tribe.

What she noticed straight away?

No egos. No mirror selfies. No “everyone’s watching me” feeling.

Just good people. Proper coaching. And a place she actually wanted to be.

But the real challenge came recently – Zelle was hit with two autoimmune diagnoses. She was put on steroids, gained 14 kilos, and developed inflammatory arthritis.

Even getting out of bed or into a car? Agony.

Did she give up? Nope.

She started PT with Joel and everything changed.

“I can’t speak highly enough of Joel. I feel stronger. I move better. And the pain? So much better.  I’ve lost 5 kilos. And yes, I still enjoy a few drinks on the weekend.”

Now Zelle’s back to doing things on her terms. No pressure. Just progress.

“Walking into a gym is intimidating, I get it.

But Tribe is different. It’s actually welcoming. The trainers know their stuff.  And no one’s watching you, everyone’s just doing their thing.”

Her advice?

“You never know if you never go.

Give the 2-Week Trial a crack – it might just be the best decision you make.”

We reckon she’s right.
